Crafted in Guatemala, Zacapa Rum is a work of art, and an expression of patience, richness, quality and master blending. Aged to perfection in the highlands of Quetzaltenango, Zacapa Rum develops its complex flavour and character 2,300m above sea level in the mystical House Above the Clouds.

Rum Zacapa 23 is produced with an aging process resulting from the "Sistema Solera" technique during which rums of different ages and profiles are blended, then aged in a succession of barrels. The first barrels were used to store robust American whiskeys, the latter delicate Sherry and the latter elegant Pedro Ximenez wines. The result of this unique blend offers a rum from 6 to 23 years old!
